TRAINOSE S.A.: In 2005 the OSE establishes TRAINOSE as a subsidiary, to which it transfers all the transport work. In 2007, with the completion of the transfer, TRAINOSE fully undertook the operation of transport as an independent company with its own management and organization. In 2013 the company, in the context of obligations arising from the imposition of the Memorandum of Understanding, comes under the full ownership of TAIPED, which had it in full ownership until 2017. In January 2017 the Court of Auditors approved the privatization of the company and after conducting an international tender, it was acquired by the Italian group FS Italiane, for a total price of EUR 45 million, with completion achieved in October of the same year.
