R.S. ARIDEA (ARDEA): The station (known as Ardea also) was located within the village with the same name, in the prefecture of Pella in Western Macedonia. It belonged to the section of the line (type Decauville 0,60m) Skidra - Aridea - Promachon. The design was made by French military engineers in 1916, the layer materials, as well as the rolling stock came from France and the responsibility of construction was taken over by the Serbian army. The line was putted into operation in first days of Decemdber 1916. On 29 August 1923 the line was taken over by Local Railways of Macedonia and in 1932 by SEK. In 1936 the line ceased to operate and within the same year it was permanently dismantled. The station was located 28,400 km from Skidra Station.
