R.S. ALEXANDROUPOLIS: The wooden station of Alexandroupolis (also known as the French), was built in the end of 19th century by the company of Baron Maurice de Hirsch and was the main station of the line Alexandroupolis - Andrianoupolis, which first operated in 6/1872, when the area belonged to the Ottoman Empire. Nowadays is working as sorting station, while passenger are served by the new station Alexandroupolis Port. The station is located 441,984 km from Thessaloniki Station.
