RAILWAY LINE KAVASSILA - KILINI - LOUTRA:
On 10 May 1890, the contract for the construction of a line was signed, which would connect Kavassila with Kilini, with a length of 16,385 km line and the section Vartholomio - Loutra Kilinis, with a length of 10,847 km line. The contract was ratified by law in the Greek Parliament on 30 May 1890. On 29 August 1891 the section Kavassila - Kilini was completed and delivered to traffic, while on 1 June 1892 the section Vartholomio - Loutra Kilinis was in operation. Its kilometer numbering started from the station of Kavassila, while for the section to Loutra Kilinis from the station of Vartholomio. The width of the line here was also metric. In 1969 the traffic on the line Vartholomio - Loutra Kilinis was interrupted, while in the section Kavassila - Kilini in 2011.
