RAILWAY LINE AMINTEO - KOZANI:
In January 1951, the construction of the line of normal range began, from Aminteo to Komanos. Then the line was extended to Kozani, which was completed in December 1954. The inauguration of the line took place on 30 January 1955, while the next day 31 January 1955 started the regular services between Thessaloniki and Kozani. In total the line has a length of 59 km and the kilometer numbering starts from the station of Thessaloniki.
