ATHENS - PIRAEUS ELECTRIC RAILWAYS: The Ilektriki Sidirodromi Athinon-Pireos (HSAP) were founded on 1 January 1976 as a consequence of the nationalization of EHS. They undertook and continued the operation of Pireas - Kifisia line, proceeding to the strengthening and upgrading of the network. On 17 June 2011 the new company Statheres Sigkinonies (STA.SY.), were founded when the HSAP belonged to it and ceased to exist as a company.
