FRENCH-GREEK RAILWAY COMPANY: With the Treaty of Lausanne, 24 July 1923, which defined the borders between Greece and Turkey, the CO had under its operation only the lines that existed within Turkey. For the Greek part Alexandroupolis - Ormenio (except for the part of Adrianople) it continued to be owned by a CO, but was now on Greek soil. In order to solve the problem, in 1929 the company with name Compagnie Franco-Hellenique de Chemin de Fer (CFFH) was established, which was based in Paris and took over the ownership and operation of this line. On 7 May 1954, by means of a contract signed by the Greek State with the company, it acquired the line and the rights on it and the SEK they took over its exploitation. Following the acquisition, the company, as not having an object of operation, was dissolved.
